The Harmonics of the spine
This is an experiential class specifically designed to deepen one's practice through the study of the anatomical nature of the spine as well as the subtle harmonics of the spine.
The class will include an in depth study of spinal mechanics and anatomy of the autonomic nervous system in combination with the vibrational healing arts. The class is designed to help each participant understand the body as one integral and dynamic unit of function.
In this class we will develop an understanding of the spine from a bio mechanical and biodynamic perspective. We will work with AT Stills principle that structure and function are interrelated.
(Structure is the physical matter we are made up of our bones, ligaments, muscles, nerves, arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels and organ system.) These structures are all harmonically interrelated and functionally interdependent on one another. In this class we will deepen our understanding of this underlying principle, and develop skills on how to adjust the structure to correct functional challenges. We will practice this both hands on and working with sound/vibration instruments such as tuning forks, singing bowls, voice, wind, metal and other precisely tuned instruments.
Objectives
Develop skills working with the principles of sound as a fulcrum to interface with and relate to the human bio field. This is a fundamental skill used to accurately assess and treat the body mind.
Understanding of the biomechanics of the spine how the spine was created by morphogenic fields in gestation and learn how to accurately assess the spine and body systems.
Understanding physiologic movements of the spine in their possible planes of
movement and how to integrate and correct dysfunction.
Understand the application of tuning forks and other sound instruments in the bio field and on the body.
Understanding assessment and the pacing of a treatment.
- Learn how to adjust the body mind as a whole and dynamic unit of function.
